A battle wand is a carefully crafted weapon, usually about two feet long or so, with a crystal topping the end. Used as a melee weapon, they have identical stats to a light mace (simple light weapon, deals 1d4(S)/1d6(M) bludgeoning damage, x2 critical rate). However, battle wands also contain a ‘wand chamber’ designed to store a regular wand, and allows whoever is holding the battle wand to use the wand within as though they were holding it; it is a full-round action to insert or remove a wand. Any enhancement bonuses on the battle wand, or feats such as Weapon Focus (battle wand) also apply to any attack rolls made when casting the spell out of the wand contained within.
Battle wands cost 100 gp. Other weapons can be created with a wand chamber for an additional 150gp on top of the weapon’s cost for each wand chamber installed, and a weapon can have multiple wand chambers installed (within reason).
